John W. Robinson John W. Robinson, M.D., S.M.
Dr. Robinson founded PEHR Technologies in November 2003 to capitalize on the dual demand of health insurance companies needing new ways to lower costs by encouraging more patient participation in their own health care and of patients needing more control over their health. With over 20 years of experience treating patients as a family doctor, he has seen over and over again situations in which patients don't know the basics of their health history or understand the resulting increased costs and potential for medical errors.

In 1998, Dr. Robinson founded The Utah HealthCare Institute, a non-profit organization that sponsors the Residency, four outpatient clinics, and an active community service program. He is an accomplished speaker and has numerous contacts in the health-care industry, including several CEOs of health insurance companies. He also has experience as a medical director for a health plan.

How to Make the Most of Your Doctor's Visit
Parade Magazine recently ran a story by Dr. Ranit Mishori on how to take control of your health. Before going to your doctor's visit he recommends that you "Gather the Facts," such as 1) Make a list of the medications that you take, 2) Bring copies of your latest X-Rays and MRI reports, and 3) Get your history straight.

PEHR Technologies recommends The Bartlett as the ideal tool to help get you organized for your doctor?s visits.

PEHR invited to Gonzaga University's Freshman Orientation When parents send their children off to college, they typically have some anxiety about their child's health. What if they need to see the doctor? Will their son or daughter remember their allergies and other important medical history? Now the Bartlett is available to provide peace of mind to parents.

Dr. Robinson Speaks at Gonzaga University Dr. Robinson participated on a healthcare ethics discussion panel about electronic medical records at Gonzaga University on April 11th, 2007. This panel was sponsored by the Gonzaga Hogan Entrepreneurial Program (www.gonzaga.edu/entrepreneur) and the Gonzaga School of Nursing.
